California-born artist Paula Kloczkowski Luberda explores themes of humanity, connection, and the shared experiences that unite us. Her work has been showcased in prominent national and international exhibitions, including the Ceramics Biennale in Gauteng, South Africa, and at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in California. Paula’s professional career spans over 30 years, with representation by five Chicago-area galleries and her current affiliation with Galeria Azul. Her recent solo exhibition, Out of Touch, was held at the Laura A. Sprague Gallery at Joliet College. She is also part of the traveling exhibition Breaking Criminal Traditions, which highlights social justice issues and has been featured at venues such as Penn College and Kean University. Her multidisciplinary practice reflects her diverse academic background, with training in large-scale ceramic sculpture at The Art Institute of Chicago, fiber sculpture at Concordia University, and specialized techniques like mold-making and patination. A juried residency at the Ragdale Foundation further enriched her practice. Paula has received numerous awards for her work and frequently shares her expertise through lectures, public speaking, and guest artist appearances at institutions like Roosevelt University.
