Byfrank (Frank Janszoon van Dijk)
Byfrank, the artistic name of Frank Janszoon van Dijk, is a Dutch designer and visual artist who blends creativity with sustainability. Renowned for his official portraits of Princess Beatrix and King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, he explores innovative techniques and materials to expand the boundaries of contemporary art.
In one of his recent projects in Zandvoort, Byfrank repurposed recycled Formula 1 banners into distinctive artworks, incorporating his street photography collected from around the world. Through this fusion of material reuse and visual storytelling, he demonstrates how discarded objects can be reimagined and transformed into meaningful works of art.
