Robert is a third generation San Franciscan. His artistic and creative talents were recognized at an early age. During the late 1960’s San Francisco had become the epicenter for creativity, both in art and music. With the music scene exploding in the City by the Bay, Robert saw the opportunity to lend his artistic talent to this movement by developing poster art and album cover design for many of the local bands coming out of San Francisco at that time.
Over the past few years, in addition to having success selling his works and developing works on consignment. Robert has found further reward in the giving back through the donation of some of his works to foundations, such as the LimeLights “Dart for Art” annual event, UCSF Art for AIDS and other deserving foundations.
Additionally, his work has been shown in Miami, New York, Santa Fe, as well as at his one man show in San Francisco earlier this year. Robert’s work has been singled out for recognition on numerous occasions and it touches a diverse group or art collectors.
