Phillip Maynard Allison

Phillip Maynard Allison moved from the UK to France in 2014 after retiring from a career in Fine Art education. He had worked as a lecturer in Fine Art and, since graduating in 1985, engaged extensively in community and public art. His career included numerous residencies in schools and work on public commissions, both as an artist and as part of the management teams overseeing these projects.

Now based in France, he remains actively involved in the local arts scene, upholding the belief that artists should contribute meaningfully to the communities in which they live.
