Tracey Dean Widelitz is a published writer, poet, and photographer, and a proud member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She is the author of the children’s book A Heavenly World, inspired by her personal experience of pet loss. Tracey is also a devoted mother to two incredibly creative daughters—and the proud pet parent of the beloved Honey Bun.
Her poetry has been published in Wingless Dreamer anthologies including Dreamstones of Summer, Dawn of the Day, Whispers of Pumpkin, My Cityline, Field of Black Roses, The Black Haven, My Sanskriti in Teal, and Rhapsodies of Rhyme. She was the Grand Winner of Wingless Dreamer's Dreamstones of Summer Poetry Contest and a top finalist in the Field of Black Roses Poetry Contest (2022).
Her photography has appeared in Months to Years (Winter 2022), Camas (Winter 2021), Tiny Seed Literary Journal (July and October 2022), Burningwood Literary Journal (April 2022, January 2024, and April 2025), Poet’s Choice: A Taste of Reality Anthology, Wild Roof Journal (Issues 20 and 24), and The Closed Eye Open (Spring 2024, Issue XI).
Exhibition highlights include Las Laguna Art Gallery’s Captured (February 2022), Landscapes or Seascapes (March 2022), Light & Shade (April 2022), and Women in Art (April 2023). Her work has also been featured by J. Mane Gallery’s Elements of Nature (2024), Light Space Time’s Animals, Open Theme, and Botanicals Exhibitions (2024–2025), and The Write Launch (May 2025).
In October 2025, Tracey’s photography will be featured at Agora Gallery in New York City in the New York, I Love You exhibition.
