Ralph Levinson is a self-taught artist who embodies the idea that it is never too late to begin anew. Although he has held a lifelong interest in art, it wasn’t until his retirement at age 75 that a profound wave of creativity took hold. Levinson holds a BFA and MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and while his formal education laid the groundwork, it is only in recent years that his artistic vision has come fully alive. He focuses on non-traditional watercolor techniques, pushing the medium beyond its conventional boundaries.
