Galyna Otchych (also known as Halyna Otchych) is a Ukrainian artist, architect, and designer based in Lviv. Born in the Lviv region in 1960, she plays a prominent role in the international watercolor community. She serves as Head of the Ukrainian Branch of the International Watercolor Society (IWS Ukraine), Vice President of the Bukovina Watercolor Association, and is a member and ambassador of the Mondial Art Academia. She is also a member of both the Union of Artists of Ukraine and the Union of Designers of Ukraine.
Otchych is an active participant in international art exhibitions, festivals, and competitions, and is a committed organizer of watercolor-focused art events. Over the past five years, she has taken part in more than 65 international exhibitions and has held ten solo exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad.
