I’m Clémentine Daudier, a French abstract artist based in Munich. I’m self-taught and also a foreign language teacher — painting gives me a space to feel, express, and reconnect.
Born in France, I grew up in Sierra Leone, then lived in Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, La Réunion, Hungary, and now Germany. Though I’ve often lived far from the sea, water runs through my work — as memory, rhythm, and healing.
I create mixed media artworks using acrylics, pastes, fabrics, and textures. Blue is my anchor, evoking depth and calm. Gold brings contrast and light, often inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of embracing brokenness with beauty.
My creative process is intuitive and emotional. I rarely plan — I let colour and sensation guide me. In the studio, I lose track of time. Art became essential after a personal turning point shaped by motherhood, burnout, and the late discovery of my ADHD. I was seeking not just balance, but purpose — and painting gave me that.
Inspired by the Blue Mind theory, my work invites you to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Each piece is a small act of alchemy — turning emotion into colour, and silence into light.
