Eva Nordholt is a visual artist with a background in graphic design and animation, holding a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a master’s in Animation. Born in the Netherlands and currently based in Spain, Nordholt has explored a wide range of creative disciplines, from illustration and photography to animation, before finding her way back to her original passion—painting.
Entirely self-taught as a painter, she began by working from life, gradually incorporating digital tools such as Photoshop into her process. Her paintings reflect a dynamic tension between precision and spontaneity, often merging digitally composed elements with painterly gesture. In recent years, Nordholt has shifted toward greater freedom in her work, revisiting and reworking older pieces to embrace a looser, more intuitive approach. Her paintings are reflections on process, balance, and the evolving nature of artistic identity.
