Talk to us about your work featured here. What are the main themes and ideas you explore in it?
In this watercolour artwork, by observing the children’s expression, you may sense the deeper emotions, including confusion, sadness, helplessness and longing. Through the eyes of the children, you can easily find where the symbol of hope is.
Describe your creative process.
This watercolor mainly uses the glazing color technique. The most difficult part of this painting is how to arrange the various elements reasonably within the picture space.
What do you consider the strongest aspect of your work?
The main themes of my works are usually in response to the current social situation.
What message or emotion do you hope viewers take away from experiencing your art?
I hope that my work can arouse the audience's concern for the disadvantaged groups in society.
