Aleksandra Mazurkiewicz was born in 1985 in Warsaw, Poland. She graduated with distinction in 2005 from the Wojciech Gerson State Secondary School of Fine Arts and pursued her higher education at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2011, she received her Master of Arts degree with honors, and in 2022, she earned her doctorate in Fine Arts, specializing in sculpture.

Mazurkiewicz enriched her academic journey through the Erasmus Programme, studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in 2009. In 2014, she was awarded an Italian proficiency certificate by the Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Mazurkiewicz is currently an assistant professor in the art medal studio at her alma mater and lectures at the University of Siedlce. Her work has been recognized both nationally and internationally, earning her numerous awards, including the Grand Prix in the "New Situations" art contest in 2023 and a scholarship from the Minister of Culture, National Heritage and Sport in 2021.

Her sculptures have been exhibited widely, including in Belgium, Canada, Bulgaria, Japan, Spain, the USA, Italy, and the UK. Since 2024, she has been a member of the Polish Art Medal Association and The Society of Portrait Sculptors (UK).
