Gyuhye Yeon is a contemporary artist whose work explores emotional narratives through an evolving visual language rooted in introspection and poetic symbolism. Based in South Korea, Yeon has developed a distinctive body of work that traverses themes of memory, identity, and the passage of time. Her paintings often balance delicate imagery with conceptual depth, inviting contemplation and quiet emotional engagement.
Over the past decade, Yeon has exhibited internationally, with notable solo presentations including “Secret Garden” at Indipress Gallery and “Parents” at Soheodang Gallery, both in Seoul (2024); “Turning Point” at Gong Gallery, Korea (2022); a solo booth at the LA Art Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center (2021); and an earlier exhibition at Villa des Arts in Paris (2018). Her work has received multiple regional and international awards in recognition of its sensitivity and formal strength.
Yeon’s practice reflects a disciplined approach to storytelling through form, color, and composition—each series an intimate dialogue between personal experience and universal emotion.
